HP has been supplying, servicing and supporting educational institutions around the world for over 60 years. HP supplies technology and associated training to schools across Australia. HP sponsors various school award nights; educational associations and Principal, teaching and technology conferences. HP has also supported Australian universities, through their Technology Solutions Grants Program and their Technology for Teaching program.
Since its inception, HP has expanded its philanthropic investments in education around the world, which vary from gifts of HP technology, funds and resources to the provision of a range of education-related services. In 2006 alone, HP contributed more than US$17 million in this way to schools, colleges and universities around the world, as well as $US46 million helping educational institutions, community groups and non-profits address some of their most fundamental challenges. Since 2000, HP has contributed US$220 million to education around the world.
